think the world is really in confusion regarding it all.

You appear to be a knowledgeable man on this full timing. At this present time, as we are still within the Transition Period, I do not think there will be too many issues, I think the lockdown will have impacted on many who are still in Europe as the internal borders have been closed, but that will be changing very soon as most of Europe looks like they are re-opening their borders later this month. At that point you, and many others, will not have any reasonable excuse for overstaying so will probably be expected to make your way back to the UK. However, as it stands, once back in the UK you will have to quarantine and self-isolate for 14 days and provide an address so that they can check that you are where you say you are or be subject to a fine of £1,000Campsites are still closed and waiting for Government to announce that they can open, anticipated to be on 4th July, so if you are planning on heading back you will need to take this into consideration, although the Government are under pressure to Drop this quarantine rule, so we will have to see what happens.
A bit here about asking for a long-stay visa but obviously that could be a gamble:
Stuck in the EU Due to Coronavirus and Visa-Free Stay Is About to Expire
If you are from a country that does not require a Schengen visa, the same principle due to force majeure will apply to you too. Generally, you are allowed to stay in a Schengen country without a visa for up to 90 days. If you have already exhausted these days, you can also approach the competent authorities of the Member State where you are located are apply for a long-stay visa to cover your prolonged stay until you are able to depart the Member State and return home.

Also there's a multi-lingual letter from the British Embassy in Madrid re covid, asking for people to be allowed to continue on their journey home. It could be worth a try if stopped by authorities
There are more knowledgable and experienced full timers than me. But as has been said already, Tenerife is Spain, think of it similar to the Isle of Wight to the UK, so you are already in Spain. If you are happy to stay where you are, go to the local Police Station and sign on the list of Foreign Visitors, as we are still subject to EU Laws we are also protected by them until the end of the Transition date 31 Dec 2020. So, as long as you have signed the register you should be okay to stay in Spain for a Further period of 90 days, but no more than a total period of 180 days. Remember too, unless the Transition Period is extended, which is looking extremely unlikely, the 90 day period will commence, for Brits already in Schengen Countries, on 1st January, meaning you need to be out no later than 31st March. Remember, if you havn’t already got one, after 31st December you may also need an ‘International Driving Licence’You appear to be a knowledgeable man on this full timing.
Have u ever heard of any customs fines from the canary's... I have and I'm sure u have also spent over 6 months in Europe with out a bother.
I'm just concerned with Tenerife, as it would totally screw Me up if hey stopped move leaving trying to impose a fine or tax on the vehicle.
Once in Spain, I'm sure it will be easy to ride the time when Europe will be full of Brits again and return with them as if I've only been away for a few weeks..
This is our last chance of freedom movement before brexit truely ties us down
I think alot of motorhomers after 31 march will either drive to turkey or Morocco for their next 90 days. There are more knowledgable and experienced full timers than me.
