45 minutes east of Paris is the charming little medieval city of Provins.
Aparently free parking for motorhomes with water and chemi-disposal point.
There is a sign saying 8 euros per 24hrs but I've been here 3 days and not seen anyone paying.
Fantastic example of a walled medieval city with lots of interesting places to explore.
Ramparts, arrow slits, huge towers and of course, lots of bars!
Follow signs for the tourist office then double back on yourself to find the car parking.

Do you think that could be due to not being high season

Well of course there would be lots of bars, these places always have 'dungeons' :giggle:
